My story starts with a night walk that changed my life completely.

It all started after my last break up back in 2016. I was 30, doing extremely well professionally and belonged to a very good family. So let me quickly tell you about my past, I had a girlfriend before but we broke up 3 years into the relationship. So I found this girl always roaming around with a lady post-dinner. We always looked at each other during late-night walks and that's all.

This went on for about 2 years. No common connection, I just saw her walking always with her mother that's it. So somewhere last year I realized that she seems interested in talking to me but because I am from a reputed family in my locality and she was always with her mother, I never had the courage to approach her.

Then one fine day in November 2018, I realized that she also wanted to talk. I only knew her house. So on the 9th Nov of in the post-night stroll I came back home and put her house address on Google randomly and voila her name appeared on the government website. I was on cloud nine, but it was a shock to me as well.

She was 21 only and I was 32. I thought thoroughly for one complete day and finally searched for her name on Facebook, but we had no mutual friends and her account was private. Then I searched for her on Instagram and since that was also a private account, I sent her a follow request. Finally, after 3 days, she accepted it. That day while roaming around on the streets, she saw me 2-3 times, as if just to evaluate whether I was the one who sent her the Insta request. That was the 14th of Nov 2018.

After checking her post on Instagram, I realized that she was learning French. That night I posted two Insta stories in French on my account and yes my account was not private. She checked my stories the very next day. Then after two days, her message came - "Are you learning French?" This is how our communication started.

I met her on the 26th of November in the context of learning French. That day we talked for about an hour. I am very grounded and after meeting her, the first impression was not very good. I came to know that she was taking French lessons and I enrolled myself for basic French classes only to meet her. That is how our friendship began.

Like it's said that for a relationship, two strong individuals are required but she was not at all 100 percent in it. Initially, for a few days, she told me that she had plans of going overseas for higher studies. So I never told her about my feelings, also because of our age difference and her future plans.

We became very good friends in a short span of 2 months. Then on 30th Jan, she asked me - "Do you love me?" I didn't want to tell her the reality but upon her insistence, I told her my feelings and that I was trying to talk to her for the last 3 years. She started liking me and we started meeting almost daily.

Somehow by Feb end, she also told me about her feelings for me but she also said that she can't change her plans because of this. Things went up and down a lot with us. Some days she was 100 percent with me, other days she was against the relationship.

She, in fact, informed her mother also that I wanted to marry her. So I met her mother and she also liked me.

Things were going well but somewhere in May, she told me her plans to achieve her future goals and things cannot work between us. We are still in touch with each other but she doesn't want to commit for marriage and I don't want to be her boyfriend.

This is my pure love story.
