You guys might judge me after reading this, or some of you may find it relatable.

To begin, I've recently joined a corporation, and I’m new to its customs. It all started with a 2-week training in my office, and during this time, a sub-team from Australia, where I work, paid a visit.

I met all of them for the first time. It was the first day, and I saw these two guys who had come from Melbourne. They appeared to be around 3–4 years older than me, and one of them caught my eye. I thought he was cute.

After a while, I found out that he was going to be one of our trainers for the two-week training session. I was quietly thrilled about it.

The training started, and this cute guy was somewhat shy; he would just teach in class and not interact much during the first 2 days, and then there was a party planned on the 3rd day.
I was new to this party culture, and it was my first "corporate" party ever. I got to know that even he would be coming for the party, so I dressed up nicely and went there.

I was the one who went up to him and introduced myself, and I noticed a bit of shyness in him. This was before he had any drinks. He asked me for a drink, which I refused since I don't drink, and he seemed surprised by that.

He drank a lot, and we were together throughout the party. It was genuinely an amazing day.

He tends to be quiet when he's sober, but once he had a few drinks, I couldn't get him to stop talking. He literally asked me to accompany him everywhere, and there were a few moments when I felt a unique connection with him.
The next day, we exchanged our numbers and spoke a bit on WhatsApp. I got to know that this guy doesn't use his phone much, and he is somewhat anti-social on social media. I was growing impatient as he wasn't responding to my messages. Luckily, we had another party planned where only a few people were called, and I'm glad I was one of them.

And this was even better than the previous one. This time again, we were together throughout the party. When it was time to leave, we hugged each other, and that was a memorable moment. He asked me to join his team and introduced me to a few people who could guide me through the procedures.

I could sense a connection in his eyes too, but he was set to leave for Australia in just two days. I had no clue if we would stay in touch.

Currently, he is in Australia. I'm the one who always texts him, and often, due to work, he is unable to text back.

I don't know if I am overthinking, but I'm eager to know more about him. However, I'm not sure if I should keep texting him like this. But I can't stop thinking about him!
