And Then, My Job Interview Turned Into My Love Story

Love comes in its own way and you don't know when and where you will meet it.

It was my first encounter with love, passion and intimacy. I was still not ready to fall for anyone. My love began with a phone call that was only normal for my job. I had not thought of it before taking that call, but it took me to my destiny.

I got a call for a job in a pharmaceutical company, for the position of HR. I was selected and I had to meet the consultancy that was managing the process. I prefer talking to people on the phone rather than meeting them, so I tried to avoid this meeting altogether. But I had to meet them for salary negotiations at least.

That evening, I got a call from an unknown number. I heard a gentle voice, "May I speak to Ria?". When I told him I was Ria, he lost his temper with me. Apparently, his colleague from the consultancy was trying to call me for over 3 hours, and I was avoiding it. "How irresponsible of you!" he yelled, and directed me to come the next day for salary negotiations at 10 AM sharp.

He was a very professional person. However, I'm the kind of person who doesn't care. If I don't like something, I don't like it. It doesn't matter who is on the other side. So the next day, after fighting a thousand thoughts in my head, I went to the consultancy at noon. When I reached and introduced myself, he said, "My goodness! I can finally see you!"

We spoke about my job and the salary, but soon the conversation became personal. I was not surprised. I had sensed his feelings over the call itself. That whole day, we talked at his consultancy. I met him again at night because I thought he was interesting. Over the days, we slowly fell for each other.

You don't know when and where love is waiting for you.
Again I started feeling like a 16-year-old- butterflies in the stomach, waiting to meet him in the evening after office, first with passion, then with the kind of comfort that only the two of us could have.

We were alone in his car one day, and he kissed me for the first time. It was the first time anyone had ever kissed me. It was heaven! He and I indulged in each other further from that day onwards, because we were so in love!

It has been three years. My relationship is as beautiful as ever.

Love knocked on my door, and I couldn't turn it away. We still behave like we met just yesterday. The passion and intimacy remain. We will never lose each other.
