She Betrayed Him With His Best Friend And Then Acted Like It Was No Big Deal

Huthbura is famous for its mountains, gardens, lakes and waterfalls. It falls on the outskirts of Ganderbal. My friend J.P. lives here. He completed his graduation in hotel management with me and went on to work as an executive for a leading organization. J.P. was a good man who spread happiness wherever he went. He fell in love with someone. It was love at first sight. He was mesmerized by her beauty and used to visit the bus stop to meet her every day. He even bought a car so that he could drop her from her workplace to her home, every day. But he didn't know that this innocent looking girl, Zuv would cheat on her with his friend, Khan. J.P. introduced his childhood friend, Khan, to his girlfriend at a party and they got together and cheated on him.

J.P. couldn't bear this betrayal and resigned from his job and left that place. He shifted to Canada and started working with a highly reputed IT firm as a consultant. One day he received a call from an unknown number. It was his ex, Zuv. He kept the conversation with her short. In the end, his ex said, "It's alright" and put the phone down like it was no big deal.

Shocked by his tale and saddened by his pain, I have dedicated this poem to my friend.

Don’t tell me it's alright, you don’t know what I feel tonight.

I have cried my heart out, faked another blackout.

Still sorry for every breath I take, can’t believe that is my fate.

Criminal that I am, don’t put roses on my grave.

Sorry Zuv, I couldn’t write you a song, because I feel so alone every time you are gone.

I am wasted away with the ashes in the burning rain, all the cigarettes cried out loud but all in vain.

I have never felt so much pain

It is more than I can bear. Kill me if you love me.

That will be all the mercy you can share, I really gave it all up and no light ever showed up.

I really miss you and the life around me. It is still dark around me while I am in the spotlight.

I don't know where people find the terrible sense to cheat on the ones they promised to love. But the ones who got cheated on like my friend J.P., I don't know what's wrong with you too. It wasn't your fault, so stop pretending like nothing happened. There are other people in the world who care for you and we can't take it if you shut us out and become a shell of who you used to be.

I believe that I have the right to ask for my friend back. So, J.P. and everybody like him, will you please show up to us with that smile again?
