I Lost My Marriage And The Woman I Loved

Anonymous Anonymous in Life Is Tough on 17 August, 2017

I was in an extramarital affair with a woman whom I met at my workplace. We knew each other for three years. From colleagues to friends, we became best friends, and finally lovers.

It all began with promises to be with each other and giving each other the time we deserve. In the beginning, everything was good and lively. I loved her more than my wife, not for some benefits, but unconditionally. She genuinely brought a smile to my life, even though everything was fine with my marriage. We made each other our priorities, but little did I know that only my feelings were real and hers were just words.

I started drifting far from my wife emotionally and physically. Whereas she was having pleasures from both worlds. She always wanted both her husband and me to be in her life. My wife sensed that something was wrong with our relationship. She turned cold as there were lots of fights.

I didn't like the situation we were in. Once, I asked her to choose between me and her husband. She chose me, but it was just a lie. She continued playing double games. Finally, I became possessive, so she asked me to leave.

I had already lost my wife and now I lost her too. How dumb was I to believe her! She played well till the time she wanted. I had thought that her feelings were genuine and true, but it turned out to be fake.

Now she doesn't want to talk to me. She showed her true colors. I lost my life for this friend who made me believe in her fake world of love.
