Dear Best Friend, I'll Always Pick You Up

Dear Best Friend,

Years have passed and still we are walking together, unwittingly earlier, but now so mindfully. I've kept walking beside you always. Though you never noticed my presence, I’ve always kept an eagle eye on you. But what I want you to understand is that our friendship has gone through too many ups and downs. Our lives, circumstances, you, me and even our round the clock relationship! Now we're fully fledged trees, and no more the planted seeds we used to be!

The juvenile childhood friendship has turned into an incognito kinship. And deep down, the love is aggravating unconditionally for you. But you don't worry dear, it’s a deep-dyed fair, if you don't envision the same.

I don't crave for you. After all I am not in love, rather I love you. My love isn't my enslavement.

It's sovereign, it’s hooked off the carnality, incarceration, prioritization and anticipations. It only has love and acceptance for you with no stipulations!

So I just wanna jog your memory that in the midst of helplessness and melancholy, don’t fear the checkmate. Indeed you'll fall, but I'll always pick you up. No matter what, you just walk and I'll be walking in the same way as I used to. Noticed or unnoticed, I will always be beside you.
